Andrea Abbott-Ganuza RN, BSN, Board Member<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Andrea<\/a> is a registered nurse on the path of discovering how to combine the teachings and practices of western medicine, eastern philosophy, Ayurveda, yoga, permaculture and positive psychology for over a decade. She has experience working in critical care arenas, starting an Ayurvedic inspired line of natural skin care products, as well as working as a wellness coach. In her free time, she integrates work in her garden to help foster a love for, and knowledge of ethnobotany with her two children and husband. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea currently resides in Miami, FL. She lived in New York City and Philadelphia. She plans on continuing weaving the varied disciplines mentioned above, into a holistic approach to living the good life, while being a dedicated life long learner. The products and services that APYArte, Inc. offers the public is something that she herself has incorporated into her own family life.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Nimia<\/a> is a proud Taino, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Permaculture International Instructor and Designer, Master Gardener, an Ordained First Church of Atheism Minister, Ayurvedic Reverend, Magnet Therapist,  Laughter Yoga Leader and Yoga Instructor trained in India. She has assisted hundreds of clients dealing with various health issues as a health coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is a certified metal embossing, oils and soap artisan and a non-practicing licensed attorney in Puerto Rico having promoted therapeutic jurisprudence and holistic law in her legal practice. She personally believes in Natural Phenomena, Humankind, Compassion and the continuously evolving Facts of Science to guide us throughout life. She hopes that her grandchildren will follow and incorporate a cooperative lifestyle and abide by natural sciences to lead them toward a more holistic and fulfilling life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Roberto Santiago<\/strong>, Board Member<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roberto Santiago <\/strong>is the community engagement and communications officer for Florida Atlantic University\u2019s Broward County campuses. Prior to FAU, Santiago was the Public Relations Manager at Miami City Ballet. Earlier in his career he was a newspaper, magazine editor and writer for publications such as The Miami Herald, The New York Daily News, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, Rolling Stone, Essence, People Magazine and is a contributing editor for Latino Magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s promoted his private clients and employers via T.V. networks such as NBC News and PBS local channel plus National Public Radio. For work he\u2019s traveled to France, covered interviewing Fidel Castro in Cuba, covered the 9\/11\/2001 tragedy in NYC, felt the thrill and wrote about breaking the sound barrier flying as a passenger with the Blue Angels on an F\/A -18 Hornet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A graduate of Oberlin College with a B.A. in History and Creative Writing, Santiago is the author of “Boricuas: Influential Puerto Rican Writings \u2013 An Anthology\u201d. He lectured about Puerto Rican and black Hispanic issues at prestigious colleges and universities around the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Santiago, a native New Yorker lives with his lovely wife and dog in FL, trains in Wing Chun kung fu, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In 2005, he was awarded Men\u2019s 35 and Over Overall Bodybuilding Champion. He loves spending time at the beach, reading, cooking, and traveling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimia Shahrokhi, BS, Masters in Ayurvedic and Integrative Medicine, (PH.D. in process) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimia<\/a> currently resides in Georgia. She has a bachelor\u2019s degree in Biology\/pre-med. She is currently pursuing her PH.D. in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine. She completed her clinical practice at Sreedhareeyam Clinic in Kerala, India. She is currently a Lead Teaching Assistant at Maharishi International University. She is in charge of clinical coordination for the Bachelors in Ayurveda and Integrative Health. Her passion is to utilize this powerful knowledge to help her future clients move towards total health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kimia believes that as human beings we must explore ways to empower one another and create a joyful self which will lead to a joyful world. Of course, she will be using Ayurveda to spread happiness. She is creating a series of coloring books based on Ayurveda, Permaculture and Botany where she combines her knowledge and creative skills as author and illustrator in the series called AyurPermaVerse Coloring Book Series. These are all her creations and she does not use AI!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another way that she likes to bring joy to others is through her graphic design and digital artworks. She is currently donating her time as the director of website development for a non-profit organization which support education and health of children, Befriend Life Foundation. She enjoys dedicating her time creating digital artworks for non-profit organizations working towards greater good like APYArte Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
