VOLUNTEER WITH US. BE PART OF A MOVEMENT! AN ANCESTRAL, CULTURAL, INDIGENOUS, SELF HEALTH HELP MOVEMENT.

How to get started:

  1. Look at the Position Title.
  2. Each position will have an estimated duration and duties.
  3. If interested contact us. Please send your resume, bio to include address, phone number, references and your social media pages including any website you may have or regularly post on.
  4. Send us no longer than one page, your statement of intention. Why is it you wish to volunteer with us?
  5. We will interview you and you will interview us.
  6. If in agreement, we’ll send you a volunteer contract.
  7. If in agreement you can also send us required school Completion of volunteer or “educational” service documents or we can submit a letter of recommendation when your volunteer service is completed.
  8. Currently all volunteer work is conducted remotely.
  9. If funding permits and initial work is excellent, for any of the volunteer projects indicated, future contract work may be available.

Volunteer Board Member:

  1. 4-5 hours per month of your time.
  2. Write one article per month for our SM pages on related health issues. View our FB page for examples.
  3. Attend, via video web conference call, 4 Board member meetings per year. Duration 1 ½ – 2 hours.
  4. Assist with fundraising activities.
  5. Promote APYArte projects that help disseminate our mission, vision, purpose and goal.
  6. Minor miscellaneous that may be necessary.

Volunteer Translator English to Spanish: Duties of Project 1 and Project 2.

  1. Project 1: Translate 1st book of AyurPermaVerse Coloring Book Series from English to Spanish. AI will not be used to translate the book.
  2. Review and edit translation. AI may be used to assist with the editing of the translation.
  3. If applicable, APYArte Inc will work with Professor or Instructor to assist volunteer obtain appropriate credits for volunteer work.
  4. There may be miscellaneous related tasks.
  5. Expected duration of work approximately one (1) to three (3) months at approximately two (2) to three (3) hours per week for four(4) to twelve weeks.
  1. Project 2: Translate website pages for creation of Spanish version of Website.
  2. AI may be used to translate website version.
  3. Work with webmaster to submit and imbed Spanish version into APYArte Inc website.
  4. APYArte Inc will work with Professor or Instructor to assist volunteer obtain appropriate credits for volunteer work.
  5. There may be miscellaneous related tasks.
  6. Expected duration of work approximately three (3) to five (5) months at approximately three (3) to five (5) hours per week for 12 to 15 weeks.

Social Media Campaign Designer/Influencer: to include Sales, Crowdfunding or Similar Mini Fundraising Campaign/s: Duties:

  1. Assist with choosing the best social media campaign, outreach program or system for APYArte Inc’s needs.
  2. Work with Board members to help them develop and reach out to their contact list using social media for outreach.
  3. Work with Web Designer to incorporate mini marketing and fundraising campaigns into website or other social media platforms.
  4. Creation of marketing ads using Canva Pro (and possibly Designrr and Word Press), and disseminating them on at least a weekly basis.
  5. Using marketing ads and information created for APYArte on Instagram on a weekly basis.
  6. Creation of YouTube scripts and videos to be used for future fundraising and sales campaigns.
  7. Meetings will be conducted via google chat, zoom or other similar web access programs.
  8. APYArte Inc will work with Professor or Instructor to assist volunteer obtain appropriate credits for volunteer work.
  9. There may be miscellaneous related tasks.
  10. Expected duration of work approximately three (3) to five (5) months at approximately four (4) to five (5) hours per week for twelve to fifteen weeks.

Volunteer Web Designer: Duties:

  1. Create a backup file. Update Appearance and update versions.
  2. Create new static pages with sub-menus and or banners to show different areas of APYArte, Inc.
  3. Include links on pages to FB, Linked In, X and other social media platforms.
  4. Add a visitor counter and hyperlinks to appropriate sections within the website.
  5. Incorporate Donation page along with pay buttons, links for donations at other sites.
  6. Create links with social media networks FB, YouTube, Instagram, X, TicToc, YouTube, etc.
  7. Assuring a Mobile and Tablet Responsive Website
  8. Securing user information input and privacy settings into APYArte Inc web pages for contact and donation pages.
  9. Develop link for Spanish version of website.
  10. Work with Social Media Designer on Google grants program. (Tentative. Inclusion of APYArte Inc marketing and advertising information on the site.)
  11. Work is virtual and you will work with at least these three (3) programs, Word Press, Designrr and CanvasPro.
  12. Meetings will be conducted via google chat, zoom or other similar web access programs.
  13. Miscellaneous related tasks.
  14. Expected duration of work approximately one (1) to three (3) months at approximately four (4) to six (6) hours per week for four(4) to twelve weeks.

Contributing Article Writer:

This section if for Ancestral, Cultural, Native, Indigenous, practitioners who are interested in sharing knowledge about their inherited or acquired ancestral knowledge from their family or friends, with the public. Please download the Volunteer Writer Contract and Amendment if you wish to submit an article. Please follow instructions on those documents and sign. Sometimes volunteers are not accepted for reasons such as but not limited to: inability to have a mentor to assist, particular services not currently necessary for our non-profit, we may not have the means, equipment or programs to offer you a space to work with us. Do not give up! There are many nonprofits and community based organizations that can use your time, wisdom, energy, dedication and passion. If we can’t accept your good intentions in action, and we know of a like minded organization we will inform you so you may reach out to them.
